Vipre® Internet Security 2015 from ThreatTrack Security

By Howard Berenbon

I want to say that Vipre® Internet Security is an excellent anti-malware program I've used with great success in protecting my PC-based computers. Its periodic updates and year to year improvements keep us ahead of the Internet criminals and scammers lurking to take over our computers and steal credit cards and possibly identities. So, improvements against the clever new attacks are required. Active Protection protects in real time in the background, using very little resources, so you can use your computer normally without interruption. I highly recommend Vipre®, that's because, over the years, it's never failed me. As I’ve emphasized in my previous reviews, the “Bad Website alert feature" is one of the best tools working in the background.  I do a lot of research on the Internet, and often Vipre displays a full screen message warning me not to enter a known "bad site."  You have the option to override Vipre and enter the page, but I never override. I don't want any site trying to enter malicious code on my computer even if Vipre will stop the attack. Other important features include e-mail protection, Facebook scans, fast database updates, removeable memory device scans and 24/7 technical support via chat, e-mail or Vipre forum.

What's New and Improved in Vipre® Internet Security 2015

RapidScan Technology

Turn on the RapidScan Technology in the settings and you can scan a 1.5 TB hard drive in 45 seconds.

User Interface

Social Watch ™
