If you haven't introduced your toddler to a computer because you fear he or she won't be able to handle the mouse, well your worries are over. With the Fisher-Price Little People Discovery Farm CD (for kids ages 1 1/2 to 3), the mouse is not required for getting around down on the Fisher-Price farm. The mouse is available for knowledgeable adults who, when they feel their child is ready, can spend some time teaching them how to click and move.

Once in the farm main menu, pressing any key will access up to five active areas of the screen. An adult should encourage the child to press any key for a surprise. The activities include Mommies & Babies for matching adult animals with their babies, Old McDonald Sing-Alongs for barnyard tunes, Feed the Animals, Growing Crops and Count Rabbits.

JumpStart 1st Grade Math from Knowledge Adventure
